A founding partner of Ironside Insurance Group, Ryan began his career in the industry at Liberty Mutual Group, where he was consistently recognized as a top producer countrywide. A member of many professional groups throughout Boston, he is a prominent member of the business community, specializing in Commercial Insurance.
He’s a graduate from Merrimack College where he studied Business Management.
Joshua Shotts | Partner
A founding partner of Ironside Insurance Group, Josh began his career in the industry with one of the world’s largest insurance carriers, Liberty Mutual, where he was routinely named a nationwide top performer.
He graduated from the University of Florida where he earned a Major in Business Management and Minor in Entrepreneurship.
Anthony Cingranelli | Sales Director
A proud graduate of Western New England University, Tony received a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Upon graduating in 2006, he started his Property and Casualty Insurance career at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, where he was annually recognized as a top producer.
He is a multi-year recipient of the prestigious “Five Star Professional Award,” that identifies insurance professionals consistently demonstrating industry excellence and providing superior service to their clients.
Joseph McCabe | Licensed Insurance Agent
Prior to joining Ironside in 2017, Joe worked for 3 years as an underwriter for a real estate private equity group, and 3 years as an asset manager for a large commercial bank. He used these years of risk management experience to transition into a career in the insurance world, helping individuals and businesses properly manage their day-to-day risks in the most cost-effective way.
He is a graduate of Trinity College where he earned a degree in Economics. Joe resides on Cape Cod with his wife, four daughters and two dogs.
Josh Schaer | Licensed Insurance Agent
Josh began his career as a partner in a restaurant franchise before making the transition to insurance, where he now focuses on commercial and personal lines products and services. Along with his wife and son, Josh resides in Portsmouth, NH where he is actively involved in the community, local non-profits and professional business organizations.
He is a graduate of the University of Denver where he studied Business Management.
Marissa Ross Ray | Licensed Insurance Agent
Marissa began her career in the industry at Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2010, after she graduated from The University of Connecticut with a degree in Marketing and Sales. In 2013, she moved to Boston, where she continues to support the real estate community with residential and commercial insurance.
She lives in East Boston with her husband, Ben, and pup, Maverick.

A Graduate of Stonehill College, Andy has 9 years of sales & account management experience, combined with 3 years in the insurance industry.
He resides on the south shore of MA and his hobbies include golfing, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors.
